TOUR SUMMARY

HO-HO-HO! Get ready by dressing warm for this chilli but heartwarming Christmas themed adventure.

Christmas is a very special celebration for the Hungarians, on this tour we are going to experience and learn about the beautiful traditions, and there are some secrets about Santa Claus we will share with you as well!

We start our tour at the favourite meeting point of the locals at Deák Square,  and straight after we jump on a public bus and leave downtown behind to make our way to Óbuda, our first market stop. Along the way, we will see different neighbourhoods before we reach our first destination on the Buda side of River Danube.

Once we are in Óbuda we will talk about Christmas traditions and learn about what Christmas means to the Hungarians and how they celebrate it.

It’s time for mulled wine, so we will grab a white or a red one according to your taste, and also try one our traditional cakes.

After our off the beaten track experience in Óbuda, we head back to the unmissable Saint Stephen’s Cathedral and the Christmas Market in front. that is ranked among the best ones in Europe. To crown our experience we will finish the tour along the river, with yet another festive market to see.

Celebrate the season with us under the biggest Christmas tree in Budapest!
